UAE Formula 4 Championship

The F4 class is the entry-level catamaran class for drivers aged 16 years and older. Normally drivers progress from GT15 or GT30 having gained valuable water time and knowledge of how to handle a racing boat. All F4’s has safety cells, enclosed canopies and a 60hp Mercury engine. Races are competed by having practice time followed by time trials to determine the grid positions for the start. Races begin from a standing start with all engines switched off and drivers waiting for the go! Normally three heats are completed with points for each heat determining the overall completion winner.
