"Zurich" is the champion of the "6th edition" of the 60-foot Dalma race

The winners were crowned by His Excellency Major General Staff Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programs Management Committee, Nasser Muhammad Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Court of the Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, Aref Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Salem Rashid Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Club. The "sixth edition" of the race, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club and the Abu Dhabi Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programs Management Committee, with a follow-up from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, represented the largest in the history of marine heritage races at the state and region levels in terms of the number of participating bearings, sailors and the race distance with the participation of about More than 3,000 sailors and captains aboard 125 loads. In contrast, the race's total length reached more than 68 nautical miles, equivalent to 125 km.
The "Zurich" loader, who previously won the title of "the fourth edition of the Dalma Race" in May 2021, was crowned with the title of "sixth edition" in 2023 after he excelled in the final meters over his competitor, the "Hashim" loader of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, led by Noukhaza Hassan Abdullah Mohammed Al-Marzouqi, the second-place finisher.

The prizes for the race, which totaled 30 million dirhams, were distributed as the highest value of awards in the history of marine heritage races to 120 competitors from first to 120th place.
The champion received 1.3 million dirhams, while the runner-up received one million. The third was 800 thousand dirhams, compared to 700 thousand dirhams for the fourth, and 650 thousand dirhams for the fifth, and three prize cars were allocated to the winners of the first three places in the historic race, in support of the renaissance of maritime heritage. And reflect the importance and value of national origin and ancestry.
The prizes included 120 competitors, and the owners of centers from the 31st to the 40th got 170 thousand dirhams for each boat, compared to 120 thousand dirhams for the owners of the centers from 41 to 50, compared to 100 thousand dirhams for each ship from the owners of the centers from 51 to the 80th, up to 80 thousand One dirham for each boat from 81 to 120 positions.
