UAE, Abu Dhabi 16 October 2023: The UAE Jet Ski Marathon in Abu Dhabi concluded with great success and a remarkable turnout. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi emerged as the winner in the veteran category, highlighting his exceptional skills and dedication. This event, held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Club for Marine Sports, showcased the talent and passion of the participants.

The marathon took place on the breakwater in Abu Dhabi, attracting participants across three championship categories. Rashid Al Tayer secured first place in the professional standing category, while Salman Al Awadi excelled in the professional sitting category. These winners, along with the other participants, displayed remarkable fitness and determination throughout the race.

The marathon commenced at three-thirty in the afternoon, with all three categories starting together. The veterans and professional standing categories were allocated an hour, while the professional sitting category had an hour and a half. The race took place along the Abu Dhabi Corniche, with different numbers of laps for each category. The competitors showcased their endurance and skill, completing the required laps with a high level of performance.

The winners were honored by His Excellency Salem Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Club, Majid Ateeq Al Muhairi, Director of the Marine Sports Department, and Nasser Al Dhaheri, Head of the Modern Racing Department. Nasser Al Dhaheri commended the participants for their exceptional skills and praised their dedication to the sport. He emphasized the significance of the marathon as a preparation experience for upcoming international competitions, such as the World Marathon in Indonesia.

Al Dhaheri expressed his gratitude to the club's partners for their contribution to organizing the event. He also highlighted that the club will continue to host various marine events and activities in the coming weeks, showcasing both traditional and modern sports.
