Abu Dhabi, January 24, 2024: The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club announced the postponement of the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival race for the 43-foot sailboat class, which was scheduled to be held next Saturday, due to unsuitable weather conditions and fluctuating weather conditions.
The club has approved the new race date to be one of the third or fourth days of next February.
Khalifa Al Rumaithi, head of the club’s heritage racing department, confirmed that the decision to postpone comes out of their desire to hold the competition in the ideal and suitable atmosphere for the races, and the organizing committee’s keenness to apply the highest standards of security and safety during the races.
