Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa witnesses the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival and honors guests and partners

Abu Dhabi, February 5, 2024: Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, witnessed the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival, which was organized by the club.
The festival was held for 11 days and witnessed the organization of 15 tournaments and events with large participation from different age groups.
The closing day included the Formula 4 race, in which Abu Bakr Al Marri achieved first place, Sultan Saqr came second, and Salem Al Yafei came third.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan honored the officials and partners, in appreciation of their role in the success of the club’s activities, led by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Modern Sailing and Rowing Federation, and Anna Arzhanova, President of the International Federation of Underwater Sports.
Saeed Al Muhairi, representative of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Mohammed Al Kindi, representative of Abu Dhabi Marine, and Hamid Al Hoti, president of the Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club, were also honored, in addition to various Abu Dhabi teams.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan inspected the heritage village that was established on the sidelines of the festival.
Salem Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, for his sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival and his attendance at the closing events, as well as his interest and continued support for all activities, events, and tournaments organized by the club.
He said that the Formula 4 race, which was held on the closing day, represents a strong presence of modern sports in the festival that was launched by the Abu Dhabi Grand Kingfishing Championship, as it is one of the traditional heritage events, and the festival attracted many activities that attracted more than 6 thousand participants.
He added that the festival achieved the goal for which it was held, with great participation and strong competition in all traditional and modern championships and races, and professional organization, and this reflects the great success of the event, the tremendous efforts of the organizers, and the excellence and creativity of all participants in the competitions.
