Azmir Turkey 20 July 2024:The Abu Dhabi Modern Sailing Team successfully concluded its training camp in Izmir, Turkey, in preparation for upcoming competitions. The team is gearing up to participate in the Aura Cup on Lake Lagarda in Italy from August 10 to 12 and the African Championship in the Republic of Seychelles in September 2024.

The training camp took place from July 5 to 20 and included competing in the Izmir Optimum Championship from July 15 to 17. Notably, contestant Abdullah Al-Zubaidi clinched second place in the individual category during the championship.

Salem Al Rumaithi, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, commended the success of the camp and highlighted the significant technical advantages gained from training at Sfrissa Beach. This approach aligns with the club academy's vision of preparing and enhancing the team’s skills for future competitions, both at the national level and with other sailing teams.
