On July 25, 2024: The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club made an exciting announcement regarding the "Abu Dhabi Nokhtha" program, reporting a significant increase in its participants to 232 sailors from Abu Dhabi and Dalma Al Marfa. Majid Ateeq Al Muhairi, the Director of the Marine Sports Department at the club, highlighted the success of the program, which is being carried out in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council from July 6 to August 15.

The program serves multiple strategic objectives by providing opportunities for sailors to enhance their skills and potentially participate in future events through the Nokhatha program organized by the Abu Dhabi Academy. Participants engage in sailing various sailboats, including the 22-foot, 43-foot, and 60-foot vessels, under the guidance of talent scouts.

A particularly noteworthy development is the enthusiastic involvement of 35 participants from Dalma Island, where the program has been met with exceptional success. The community on Dalma Island has shown keen interest in partaking in sailing competitions and acquiring maritime skills daily. This season marks the inaugural implementation of the program on Dalma Island, reflecting the initiative's expanding reach and impact on local communities.
