Abu Dhabi, October 25, 2024: The highly anticipated "Emirates Marathon" Jet Ski Championship, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, is gearing up to start tomorrow, filling the air with excitement and adrenaline. Under the esteemed patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club and Chairman of the Emirates Marine Sports Federation, this event promises to be a spectacular showcase of skill and speed.

Competitors from eight countries, totaling 58 participants, are set to make waves in three main categories: Sitting Professionals, Standing Professionals, and Veterans. This diverse representation underscores the international appeal of the championship and highlights Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a premier destination for marine sports.

The race will take place along the stunning Abu Dhabi waterfront, with the course designed to challenge the competitors’ mastery over their jet skis. Stretching across wide distances and along the beautiful Corniche, the racetrack is poised to test the participants' abilities to navigate the ever-changing sea conditions, making for an exhilarating spectator experience.

Khalifa Al Rumaithi, Head of the Heritage Racing Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, expressed enthusiasm about this year’s edition, noting that it brings together an elite group of international competitors. “This championship is a valuable opportunity to showcase the high technical skills in jet skiing,” he stated, emphasizing the significance of the event for both athletes and fans alike.

General Supervisor Khalifa Al Suwaidi anticipates fierce competition among the participants as they vie for top honors. “The international reputation of the championship not only enhances its global standing but also heightens the stakes for our competitors,” he remarked.
