Under the Patronage of Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa, UAE International Jet Ski Championship Kicks Off on November 16

Abu Dhabi, November 12, 2024: Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host the UAE International Jet Ski Championship under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club. The championship is scheduled to take place on November 16 at the Abu Dhabi Corniche Breakwater, featuring over 60 jet skis across various categories in an exciting event that brings together professionals and amateurs in an electrifying atmosphere.
This event traces its roots back to the 1990s, making it one of the oldest marine sports competitions. The championship is organized as part of a series of rounds held across different emirates in the UAE under the supervision of the UAE Marine Sports Federation, ensuring the highest standards of organization. The results of the championship contribute to the global rankings of the International Marine Sports Federation.
The competition is divided into 11 categories, including:
1. Runabout GP1
2. Runabout GP3
3. Ski GP2
4. Runabout GP2
5. Ski Junior 3.1
6. Ski Junior 3.2
7. Ski Junior 3.3
8. Runabout GP4
9. Veterans
10. Pro-Am Runabout (allocated 15 minutes per race)
11. Pro Runabout (allocated 20 minutes per race)
The races are conducted in two phases: morning and evening. The course is designed along the Abu Dhabi Corniche Breakwater, allowing spectators to enjoy the thrilling action up close.
With a large number of participants, the championship promises fierce competition among athletes, ensuring an adrenaline-filled spectacle for jet ski enthusiasts. The event will showcase the participants' exceptional skills and technical prowess, solidifying the championship's reputation as one of the region's largest marine sports events.
