Abu Dhabi, December 21, 2024: The Abu Dhabi Ladies Fishing Championship concluded yesterday on the waters of Abu Dhabi after a day full of competition and challenges in an enjoyable and exciting sporting atmosphere. Organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the championship saw broad participation from women who competed to achieve the best catches in ideal maritime conditions.  

Championship Results: Outstanding Performances and Impressive Weights  
The final results crowned Aisha Ibrahim Al Hammadi (Number 21) as the champion after achieving a catch weighing 14.40 kg, showcasing exceptional skill and expertise in handling the challenges of the sea.  

Dana Fayez Al Darwish (Number 1) secured second place with a total catch weighing 5.82 kg, reflecting her strong competitive spirit.  

Third place was claimed by Souad Abdullah Najm (Number 14), who managed to achieve a catch weighing 4.98 kg, completing the podium with a remarkable performance that demonstrated her high-level skills.  

Strong Competition and Ideal Sporting Atmosphere  
The championship witnessed intense competition among participants, who displayed advanced fishing skills and adaptability to the conditions of the sea. The enthusiastic support from the audience added a special touch to this remarkable event.  

Nasser Al Dhaheri, Director of Races and Events at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, said, "We are proud of the success of this championship, which highlighted the capabilities of women in fishing sports. At the conclusion of the championship, a ceremony was held to award the top winners, who received valuable prizes in recognition of their efforts and exceptional performances. All participants were also honored with certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts as a gesture of gratitude for their active involvement and support of marine sports.
