The first round of the UAE Formula 4 Championship and the UAE Flyboard Championship will kick off in the capital next Sunday.

Abu Dhabi, Wednesday, December 25, 2024: The first round of the UAE Formula 4 Powerboat Championship and the UAE Flyboard Championship will kick off next Sunday, December 29, on the waters of the Breakwater in Abu Dhabi. Organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, these events are part of the club's action-packed and challenging sports calendar aimed at enhancing the prominence of marine sports in the UAE.

The UAE Formula 4 Championship will witness broad participation from top racers from within the country and abroad. The lineup includes participants from the UAE, Sudan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, reflecting the diversity and competitiveness of this championship. Notable participants include Sultan Al Falahi, Muhannad Adnan Al Bukhari, Obaid Mubarak, Khalid Abbas, Saif Al Shuaihi, and Emirati female racer Alya Fairooz, marking her first participation as an Emirati woman in this competition. Other competitors include Abu Bakr Al Marri, Khalid Al Zarouni, Mohammed bin Hussein, Khalid Al Mazmi, Mohammed Al Hammadi, Salem Al Yafie, Ismat Ma’ani, Ezzeldin Ibrahim, and Rashid Al Dawas. These racers will compete to achieve the best times and deliver outstanding performances that showcase their high-level skills.

The UAE Flyboard Championship will feature exceptional athletes competing to present dazzling performances that combine balance and skill using advanced techniques to showcase their water control abilities. The championship serves as a platform to highlight young talents and motivate them to take up this thrilling sport.

Nasser Al Dhaheri, Acting Director of Marine Sports at the club, confirmed that all preparations have been completed to host this major event, with all necessary facilities provided to ensure the success of the championship. He explained that these events represent an ideal opportunity to spotlight Abu Dhabi's capabilities in hosting premier marine sports events and reflect the club's commitment to supporting and promoting marine sports locally and internationally.
