Abu Dhabi, January 6, 2025: Last night witnessed the conclusion of the Dalma Marine Sheari Fishing Championship for Youth, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club. The event took place in a spirited and highly competitive atmosphere. The championship, regarded as one of the most prominent sporting events in marine fishing, attracted an impressive participation of over 410 competitors from across the UAE and the region, setting new records in competition levels and the quality of catches.  

The closing ceremony featured the distribution of awards to 200 participants who achieved outstanding results, in the presence of distinguished figures and representatives of sponsoring organizations.  

 Championship Results  
The championship concluded with Abdul Aziz Al-Suraidi securing first place with a catch weighing 4 kilograms. The second place went to Saeed Musabbah Al-Suraidi with a catch of 3.90 kilograms, and he also claimed third place with another catch weighing 3.17 kilograms.  

 Sustainability Initiatives  
The **Dalma Marine Sheari Fishing Championship stood out for its meaningful initiatives promoting sustainability and the preservation of marine resources. Among these was the "Radda Bahr" campaign, which featured educational activities for children. The campaign aimed to instill environmental sustainability values by teaching children how to properly release fish back into the sea. All fish caught during the event were released, contributing to maintaining ecological balance and preserving marine wealth for future generations. This initiative reflects the championship's societal role in raising awareness about the importance of protecting natural resources and promoting responsible fishing practices.

The participation of over 410 competitors is a clear indicator of the importance of this championship, and we are proud of the record-breaking achievements made by participants in this edition."
