The Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) honors Abu Dhabi Team champions in Monaco

Monaco, March 16, 2025: The Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) honored the champions of the Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team during its annual awards ceremony held in Monaco, in recognition of their achievements in international championships.  

The ceremony celebrated racer Rashid Al Mulla for securing his sixth world title in the 2024 Aquabike Freestyle Championship, while Rashid Al Qemzi was honored for winning his fifth world title in the 2024 Formula 2 Powerboat World Championship. The awards were presented by UIM President Dr. Raffaele Chiulli, in the presence of representatives and members of the UIM and various international racing committees.  

Representing the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club at the ceremony, Nasser Al Dhaheri expressed his pride in this recognition, emphasizing that these achievements highlight the status of Emirati marine sports on the global stage. He also praised the continuous support provided to sports teams by the wise leadership.  

Additionally, he extended his gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, for his support in promoting and strengthening marine sports both locally and internationally.  

The ceremony concluded in a festive atmosphere, celebrating an elite group of athletes who have achieved remarkable success in various global championships.
