Team Abu Dhabi gears up for the challenge in Indonesia as Rashid Al Mulla prepares for the World Jet Ski Championship.

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 12 August 2025: UAE champion Rashid Al Mulla, star of Team Abu Dhabi under the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, is gearing up for the opening round of the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship – Freestyle category – in Indonesia, taking place from 15 to 17 August on Lake Toba. Al Mulla heads into the event carrying the UAE flag and the ambition to continue writing history in the records of world sport.
Al Mulla is regarded as one of the most prominent world champions in this category, having won the world title six times in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024. He reclaimed his crown in last year’s final round at Lake Toba, Indonesia, after securing the maximum score of 147 points, surpassing his closest rivals.
The champion expressed his gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club Board, saying:
“I enter the opening round with great enthusiasm and high confidence, aiming to deliver a performance worthy of the UAE name and to continue my journey of raising our national flag on world podiums.”
