Rashed Al Mulla claims bronze in the opening round of the Jet Ski World Championship in Indonesia

Indonesia, August 17, 2025 – World champion and Abu Dhabi Team star Rashed Al Mulla achieved a new milestone for UAE watersports after climbing the podium in the opening round of the 2025 Jet Ski World Championship – Indonesia Grand Prix at Lake Toba.
Al Mulla, the reigning freestyle world champion, secured third place in the same category with 40 points, following a fierce battle against some of the world’s top riders.
Italy’s Roberto Mariani took first place with 50 points, while his compatriot Massimo Accumulo finished second with 44 points, reflecting the high level of global competition in this discipline.
The Abu Dhabi Team, under the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, continues to showcase its strong presence on the international stage with a series of achievements that have reinforced its status among the world’s elite, confirming the UAE’s leadership in marine sports.
The next round of the “Pro-Circuit” World Championship will be held in Olbia, Italy, from October 17 to 19, 2025, following the Indonesian opener.
Al Mulla dedicated his achievement to the UAE and its leadership, and to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, for his continuous support and encouragement that drives the team to capture world titles. He noted that the competition at Lake Toba was tough and the conditions were challenging, but they did not prevent him from reaching the podium at the start of the season. He expressed hope of delivering even stronger performances in the upcoming round in Italy to defend his world crown.
