Shanghai – October 3, 2025: Swedish driver Erik Stark, leading Abu Dhabi Team’s boat No. 6, delivered a stellar performance in the UIM F1H2O World Championship, securing 2nd place in the Sprint Race and 3rd place in qualifying after fierce competition against some of the world’s top drivers.

In qualifying, Stark clocked 44.04 seconds, just 0.51 seconds behind winner Shaun Torrente of Victory Team (43.53), and 0.50 seconds behind his rival Stefan Arand of Sharjah Team, who took 2nd with a time of 43.54.

During the Sprint Race, Stark impressed again, taking 2nd place despite strong pressure from Sharjah Team’s Rusty White. With this result, Stark confirmed his readiness to fight for the top positions in tomorrow’s Grand Prix main race, where he will now start from 2nd on the grid after his rival Stefan Arand (Sharjah Team) was forced to change his engine, relegating him to the back of the starting line and promoting Stark from 3rd to 2nd.
