Zhengzhou, China – October 9, 2025: As the third round of the UIM F1H2O World Championship approaches, Team Abu Dhabi is gearing up with great anticipation and enthusiasm for the Grand Prix of Zhengzhou, which will take place from October 10 to 12, amid fierce competition among some of the world’s top powerboat racers.

Thani Al Qemzi, Team Abu Dhabi’s General Manager, affirmed that the team enters this round with a positive spirit and strong determination to make up for previous results, saying:
“We have a proud legacy in this championship, and we are fully focused on returning to the podium this round. We faced challenging weather conditions in Shanghai, but we learned a lot from that experience, and the team is now stronger and better prepared.”

Team Abu Dhabi will rely in this round on Swedish driver Erik Stark (boat No. 6), who brings vast experience in Formula 1 powerboat racing, alongside Emirati rising star Mansoor Al Mansoori (boat No. 5), who continues to gain valuable experience in his debut season in this elite category.

The event will feature three days of thrilling action, including free practice sessions, qualifying, and the main race, which is expected to attract a large crowd along the banks of the Zhengzhou River.

With determination and confidence, Team Abu Dhabi heads into the Zhengzhou Grand Prix carrying high ambitions to raise the UAE flag proudly and add another remarkable chapter to its distinguished record in the world of powerboat racing.
