UAE, Abu Dhabi – November 1, 2025: The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club concluded the Abu Dhabi Ladies Fishing Championship, organized as part of its sports and community activities calendar. The event witnessed wide participation from female anglers and fishing enthusiasts, held in a spirited atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and healthy competition.

The results saw Team No. 23, led by Aisha Al Maamari, claim first place with a total catch weight of 20.70 kg, followed by Team No. 24, led by Maryam Al Mansoori, in second place with 16.88 kg, while Aisha Al Suwaidisecured third place with 11.54 kg.

The awards ceremony took place in a festive and celebratory ambiance, where Maryam Al Falahi, Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, and Wedima Al Dhaheri, representative of the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, honored the winners and presented trophies and commemorative shields to all participants in recognition of their outstanding performances.

The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club emphasized that organizing this championship reflects its ongoing commitment to empowering women and enhancing their presence in marine sports, while promoting their active participation in community events, in line with the UAE’s vision to support and encourage women in sports and various fields of excellence.
