Abu Dhabi, Wednesday, November 12, 2025: The Marine Sports Festival for People of Determination kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club in cooperation with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, and supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The event will take place at the Breakwater in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

The festival is held as part of the Year of Community 2025 initiatives, reaffirming the role of sports as a bridge for communication and social inclusion, while providing an opportunity to showcase the abilities of People of Determination and enable them to engage in marine sports in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and positivity.

The festival will witness broad participation from People of Determination across various categories. The program includes a series of recreational and competitive marine races, in addition to poetry and performance shows, with the participation of supporting entities and the wider sports community.

The schedule begins at 12:00 PM with the arrival of participants, followed by marine races from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 

The official opening ceremony will be held at 5:00 PM, featuring two segments—a poetry performance and a stage show—before the activities conclude at 6:00 PM with the crowning of winners and a group photo session.

The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club affirmed that the festival reflects its commitment to promoting the concept of Sports for All, reinforcing the values of inclusion and equality, and providing a motivating sporting environment for People of Determination, in line with the vision of the wise leadership to empower all segments of society.
