bu Dhabi Team Continues Its Excellence, Securing 10 Medals at the Conclusion of the UAE Modern Sailing Champion’s Cup

UAE, Abu Dhabi — 17 November 2025: The Abu Dhabi Modern Sailing Team concluded its participation in the final round of the UAE Modern Sailing Champion’s Cup, held at The Club in Abu Dhabi, with an outstanding achievement of 10 medals: five gold, four silver, and one bronze. This accomplishment reflects the remarkable progress the team has made throughout the current season.

These results come as part of the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Academy and Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, which aims to identify national talent, develop their skills, and empower them to compete at both regional and international levels.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, congratulated the team on this achievement, affirming that these results highlight the UAE’s strong commitment to developing marine sports and building a new generation of sailors capable of excelling in major championships.

In the competition categories, Khalifa Al Rumaithi shined in the Optimist class, claiming first place and the gold medal, while Hamad Al Muhairi finished second, earning the Junior silver medal. In the ILCA 4 category, Simeon secured the overall gold, followed by Al Yaziyah Al Hammadi with the silver, while Saif Al Zaabi claimed the bronze.

Al Yaziyah Al Hammadi continued her strong performance by taking the ILCA 4 Girls gold medal, with Marwa Al Hammadi earning silver. In the ILCA 6 Girls category, Duha Al Bisher won first place and the gold medal, while Camelia Al Qubaisi secured the silver. Duha Al Bisher further demonstrated her consistency by taking the overall ILCA 6 bronze, showcasing a high competitive level and strong readiness for major championships.
