UAE, Abu Dhabi – 26 December 2025: The Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team has announced the appointment of Jumaa Al Qubaisi as team supervisor, in recognition of his distinguished career and more than 25 years of continuous service within the team’s structure, as well as his pivotal role in supporting the achievements attained at both local and international levels.

This decision comes as part of the team’s commitment to leveraging national talents with extensive field experience. Jumaa Al Qubaisi is regarded as one of the key figures who have contributed to the development of the team’s technical and organizational operations, thanks to his accumulated expertise, high level of precision, and deep understanding of the nature and requirements of powerboat racing.

Thani Al Qamzi, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team and Modern Events, affirmed that the appointment reflects strong confidence in Al Qubaisi’s capabilities and experience, noting that the upcoming phase requires professionals capable of supporting the technical and administrative teams and enhancing the team’s readiness to continue competing and achieving success.
