Lake Garda, Italy – Thursday, June 11, 2026 : The Abu Dhabi ILCA Sailing Team, representing Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, has concluded its overseas training camp at Lake Garda, Italy, after completing an intensive 10-day preparation program aimed at enhancing the sailors' technical skills and improving their physical and competitive readiness for upcoming events.

Four team sailors took part in the camp, which featured a comprehensive on-water training schedule focusing on advanced sailing techniques, boat handling, and adapting to varying wind and wave conditions. The program also included fitness, endurance, and mental preparation sessions designed to strengthen the athletes’ overall performance and competitive capabilities.

Lake Garda was selected as the venue for the camp due to its reputation as one of the world's premier sailing destinations, offering ideal training conditions and diverse wind patterns that enable sailors to gain valuable practical experience and technical expertise. The camp provided an excellent opportunity for the athletes to further develop their skills in open-water sailing and improve their ability to respond to the challenges encountered during competition.
